Multitasking just isn't my thing anymore?

I'm trying to keep different blogs, even on blogger, it just didn't work! Then I jumped over to word press to start my hip hop memories blog and .... Yeah ? I'm the girl with the blogs that she can't upkeep? Aaayyyy. I want to wear all these hats but I forget which one what day! I have tons of time while I'm at work to update..., but then I find myself on instagram instead! I love to be visual . Ok, quick update... Work is work.. Super slow month at being a sales rep at Vzw. Commissions is not cutting it right now and you would think since it's the holidays and shopping? Nope, not this year. To fix that, I'm starting school. Online classes. Lol. Online psychology classes. Last time I attempted to go to school, I was jobless, engaged and all that changed quickly! I'm taking two classes at a time. Wish me luck. Oh and psychology why? I think I want to go into behavioral health or addictions.... Help them instead of helping people with phone issues? Yeah! Oh, btw, awesome holidays for me, celebrating with Mr. Man and his fam (my 2nd fam). I got a special edition black wii, my ring and a perfum that I am loving! I got him a smith & Wesson bodyguard handgun. With a laser. And shit. Lol. Ok, let's try this multitasking thing, one more time.

Texas Forever!

Obsessed! With Friday Night Lights. The tv show. I'm watching every season (thnx 2 the box sets courtesy of my Serrata bros!) . Currently in season 2 ....disc 2. I love it. Sadly it only made it to 5 seasons. But great seasons. Should be catching up with that final season when my little brother Ivan gets here in two weeks. I love Matt Saracen. And of course Tim Riggins...then again who doesn't. I swear I will have that Texas twang accent by the end of season 3. Bound to happen. Lol. Enough gushing....but its a recommended watch!

I was recently reminded of my favorite book of all time. Tom Robbins is truly one of the best. I just had to share my favorite part of it...which is also the end. I recommend this read to all. Especially if you are as much as a romantic and outlaw,as myself. :)

Should states require drug tests for public assistance?

Twenty-seven U.S. states, as red as Arizona and Georgia and as blue as New York and California, may soon be adding another requirement for those applying for aid such as unemployment or welfare: Being clean.


More than half the states in this country are considering legislation that would require recipients of public assistance to pass a drug test before getting their handout from the government.

The details vary from state to state, of course.

A bill in the South Carolina state senate, for example, would suspend unemployment checks to any person who didn't get a job because of a failed drug test. A measure in Arizona would call for random drug testing for all people who receive welfare. In Massachusetts, a bill has been introduced requiring random drug tests for recipients of public assistance who have prior drug convictions. If you fail the drug test, you would be placed by the state into a rehab program because of the state's mandatory health care program.

Of course, if these measures pass, they will likely be opposed by groups like the American Civil Liberties Union. The Fourth Amendment protects against unreasonable searches. In 1989, the Supreme Court ruled that "suspicionless searches," like many drug tests, violate Fourth Amendment rights, unless those tests are conducted for specific reasons like public safety.

On the other hand, I don't want my tax money being used to buy illegal drugs. And that seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Here’s my question to you: Should states require drug tests in exchange for public assistance?

Ive given up all my addictions! Except this one....

I mean, shoes in general. lol. But as of now, its been a designer shoe fetish, at a discount price. I find myself scouting the web for these shoes and getting them at awesome deals...so when Martin sees there a pair of $800 shoes arriving via FedEx, there will be no fret..I got em for $150. lol. He buys car parts for project cars the way I buy shoes...If only we learned to manage both addictions. Anyway, at this moment I am in dire need of a real Christian Louboutin fix...those red soles!!!

Iphone Home.

How can one phone put such a demand in my life like that. Worst timing ever. Martin is on vacation during the exact time that I am working one week straight thanks to the launch of the Iphone on our network. It's taxing. On Me, on Us...it just sucks to have him ask me "you dont have a single day off during my vacation so we can go somewhere?" arrrrrggg. Wish I could take days off....as customers come in asking to add a line. lol. We super need the money because we want a good $5,000 to put down on our house...and Martin might be jumping ship to Border Patrol..maybe. That would help so much with the financial situation..(for saving lives, firefighters need much better pay).Adult responsibilities are TAXING!!! So I guess hooray for the iphone I guess? lol...whatever pays the luxuries of living life. His next vacation will be for my birthday in november. I'm thinking Disneyland...Martin has never been to Disneyland!! And I think Disney World would be too much...that's like two weeks worth. Typically I think of going places that have nothing to do with a family atmosphere but come on, HE'S NEVER BEEN TO DISNEYLAND! lol...so come and get your iphone folks!!!! Martin needs to go to Disneyland!!! hahahahaha.

This is what love looks like

This was my 2010 Xmas Gift from my love Martin. Two nintendo 64's, 4 controllers, 11 games, the game shark.....ok so back story to this...
My brother and I bought our nintendo 64 in 1996...with money we got from working at our dad's raspberry fields. We must have purchased over 25 games...with Goldeneye, mario kart, star wars pod racing,and diddy kong racing being our favorites. Favorites, like endless hours playing, mastering these damn games. I must have played them up until I was a junior in high school..2000. Its the only game system Ive ever really been devoted to. Needless to say, only Adrian (my brother) can beat me at Goldeneye, till this day! So in 2004, I was dating this shady ass dude, Luis Miguel Lopez whom a lot of people know is one shady ass m-fer. Everyone but me at the time. He Debo's me out of my 64 and all the games because I was spending every day at his house through out the summer..so he convinced me to keep the 64 at his house. Oh yeah, and I was also on drugs so that explains a whole mot more! So i lost the 64 and all our beloved games forever. And that was one thing that always bothered me. Because I let it happen. My beloved boyfriend Martin knew about all this (he knows pretty much almost everything about me) and I guess he also knew just how much it meants to me.....so XMAS 2010 was awesome!!!! I came home to this huge box and all this was in it!!! including: GOLDENEYE, MARIO KART AND STAR WARS POD RACING!!!! now we are on the hunt for Diddy Kong Racing....but yes...sheer awesomeness!!!!!! I love this man!!!!!

But damn it its the only chance we get to get an ipad cheaper....and after Im always able to get him a new phone every couple of months..he cant get me a damn ipad. uggggghhhhhhh. compromises my ass. im angry.

Sunday Messy Sunday

Martin and I went out last night. yay! we had such a good time! went to san benito and saw Madelyn Victoria & The Blue Barn Band play at the Gas Station (actual bar). Then we went back into Harligen and went to Wild Bills Saloon to see the Texas Drifters. Needless to say, it was one hell of a country night. yeah! I didnt take a single pic this time. damn it! we did miss not having his brothers Raul and Ivan with us. But it was still an awesome night with just the two of us.
Now this brings us to the day after.
Not bad. Just hungover. Still look fresh. Just sooo thirsty! I have no idea how I managed to live in yuma for 3 years and go out all the time like this! actually, it was crazier over there! Messy messy messy messy. Oh well. Times have changed.
On another note, I sure did enjoy a country night out. yeah!!!

Did anyone know that I like to write? Well yes, yes I do!Ever since I knew what an autobiography was, had I planned on penning my own. Granted, I might not have led such an extraordinary life....but boy was it entertaining, challenging, and uh....crazy? I would have so much to pull from! Journals, sketchbooks, notepads, songs, lyrics, photos....but....do I really want to revisit 80% iof those memories? And is it even possible to get legal clearance from every person that was a part of it? Having to rename every character to protect identities? Too much of a hassle. And really, although Im sure it would serve as a somewhat inspiring, therepeutical memoir.....having to revisit all that....just doesnt make up for it. eh. to the trash bin goes that idea!
